10 September 2014: TJI is looking forwrad to welcoming our new Mitchell Scholar, Kat Rujillo, to the LLM Gender, Conflict and Human Rights programme at the Jordanstown campus.
1 September 2014: Save the Date! Summer School on Transitional Justice 2015 on the theme of ‘Gendering the Practices of Post-Conflict Resolution: Investigations, Reparations and Communal Repair’ will take place from 22-26 June 2015 at the Transitional Justice Institute, University of Ulster, Jordanstown campus (outside Belfast), Northern Ireland.
14 August 2014: Scholarship available for LLM Human Rights Law and Transitional Justice programme at TJI.  Deadline for course application is 22 August 2014 and scholarship deadline is 29 August 2014. See  Scholarship information for further details.
24 March 2014: TJI professor Cath Collins took part in a researcher networking workshop on 14-15 March on security sector reform.  Scholars from UK and Brazil exchanged research agendas and ideas about crime and criminal justice, prevention initiatives, urban policing challenges & prison reform.
10 February 2014:  Professor Bill Rolston, former TJI Director, celebrates his retirement after 37 years at the University of Ulster.
3 February 2014: TJI welcomes a new Director, Professor Rory O'Connell who takes up his post from 1 February for a four year period. 
8 January 2014: The Summer School on Transitional Justice will take place 23-27 June 2014. This year's theme is: 'Addressing Sexual Violence and Gendered Harm in Conflict and Post-Conflict Settings: Addressing Enforcement, Essentialism, and Masculinities'.
11 December 2013: Magee campus launch of ‘The Politics of Memory’ to mark International Human Rights Day. Colleagues and students gathered at the Magee campus to discuss memory politics in Chile and in Northern Ireland.
